Djungel ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Djungel mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our app.

When you use Djungel, we may collect the following information:

Account information: Name, email address, and profile photo when you sign in with Apple or Google.
Plant data: Photos, plant names, nicknames, and propagation history that you add to your collection.
Device information: Device type and operating system version for app compatibility.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and maintain the Djungel app and your plant collection.
Enable social features such as the propagator leaderboard.
Allow you to transfer plants to other users via QR codes.
Improve and optimize the app experience.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform. Plant photos are stored in Supabase Storage. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Supabase: Database and authentication.
PlantNet API: Plant identification from photos. Images sent for identification are processed by PlantNet's servers.
Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In: Authentication providers.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your plant collection is visible to other users on the leaderboard and when they view your profile. You can control what plants are in your collection at any time.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us. When you delete a plant from your collection, it is permanently removed from our servers.

Children's Privacy

Djungel is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app.
